  MARKETING OPPORTUNITY!! Our Marketing needs are growing, and we are seeking candidates for a Marketing Coordinator opportunity, where you will work closely with our marketing management team, engineers and scientists, and other professionals to support the targeted market development activities of the firm. Although Kennesaw, GA or Boca Raton, FL, Oakland, CA or San Diego, CA are the preferred office locations, there is some flexibility for the position to be based in another established Geosyntec office in the U.S.Ranked by Engineering News Record in the top 20 design firms for the environment, Geosyntec is internationally known for its technical leadership, broad experience, and exceptional client service. Learn more by visiting www.geosyntec.com.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The primary focus of this position is to assist our marketing management team in supporting practitioners to achieve Business Development and revenue goals pertaining to specific market sectors and/or practices. Under the direction of the Market Development Lead, you will support the planning, execution, tracking, and maintenance of marketing and business development strategies and actions for targeted market sectors and practice areas; will work with market data pertaining to the select sectors and practices; and provide support for developing, increasing, and maintaining brand awareness and understanding of the markets and practice areas.This position focuses on supporting multiple Marketing Managers in their activities with the teams within Geosyntec who are collaborating on business development of market sectors and/or practices. Responsibilities include but are not limited the following:

  • Organize, and maintain resource databases related to the assigned market or practice area;
  • Support assessment of competitor activities, market intelligence, industry trends, and technological innovations;
  • Provide support for developing, increasing, and maintaining brand awareness through coordination of related newsletters, technical publications, involvement in professional organizations, participation in industry conferences, and digital media presence (including website and social media strategies);
  • Coordinate the preparation of collateral materials, including research, graphical content, and/or editing source materials;
  • Track sales funnel activities through a CRM system by performing data entry, record maintenance, and report preparation tasks;
  • Provide support in planning and implementing targeted marketing campaigns;
  • Provide support for project awards submittals, including researching and tracking applicable opportunities, and developing submittal packages;
  • Collaborate on the planning and execution of internal meetings and conferences pertaining to the sector or practice;
  • Create, promote, and manage related internal collaboration sites, including content management and site maintenance; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE

  • Associates degree (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, journalism, or related field. (preferred)

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience, preferably in the A/E/C industry, for a multi-disciplinary, multi-location firm; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. (required)
  • Intermediate knowledge of the MS Office Products and will preferably have prior experience with a CRM software package. (required)
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively manage individual workload including ability to appropriately prioritize with little supervision. (required)
  • Understanding of industry trends, and communications, marketing, and strategic plans, with the goal of supporting business development and marketing initiatives. (required)
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret marketing, technical, and other business documents. (required)
  • Ability to write, edit, and quality-check materials targeted to internal and external audiences that is organized, clearly presented, and focused on the subject at hand. (required)
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external clients at all levels, on marketing and business development topics. (required)
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
