The firm’s headquarters is located in a historic barn and farmhouse in Pike Creek Valley outside of Wilmington, Delaware. We have regional offices in Georgetown and Dover, Delaware, Center City Philadelphia and Carlisle, Pennsylvania and Bel Air, Maryland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting environmental projects within Duffield Associates’ Philadelphia Division. This is a professional track position and the expectation is the successful candidate will transition into a project management role.
Responsibilities and duties:
Coordinate project activities with clients, regulators, contractors, and technical staff for diverse environmental projects.
Provide technical input for complex projects.
Provide quality control and technical review of project activities and documents.
Participate in the implementation of corporate strategies.
Prepare and manage field staff, project budgets and schedules.
Maintain existing client relations.
Generate leads and new business opportunities through networking.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in geology or engineering.
5+ years of relevant environmental consulting experience.
Professional license (P.G. or P.E.)
Experience applying Federal and state environmental regulations.
40-Hour HAZWOPER certification.
Business development experience.
