Reporting to the Accounting Team Lead and the Controller the successful candidate will support the day-to-day Accounts Payable needs while practicing our values of One Team, Excellence, Curiosity, Common Sense and Clarity. The qualified application will be a bright, organized and motivated individual with strong communications skills. The candidate will gain valuable industry experience working in the head office a multinational Engineering firm.   Responsibilities  

  • Coding and entering vendor invoices 
  • Matching vendor invoices to purchase orders
  • Responding to various inquires from vendors and staff 
  • Reconcile and resolve accounts payable discrepancies 
  • Reviewing and posting employee expense claims 
  • Compiling invoice disbursement back-up

 Required Education, Experience & Competencies 

  • Currently enrolled in a post secondary accounting program
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Motivated to work independently and within a team
  • Highly organized
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Customer service experience would be an asset

 As required by the 2023 Pay Transparency Act, the British Columbia specific estimated base salary range for this junior-level position is $44,000-45,000 CAD per annum, however base pay will be commensurate with job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is pro-rated for the term of employment.
