Job Description

We are currently searching for an experienced Roadway Engineer to support our East Gulf Region located in Gulf Shores, AL. What you’ll be doing:
- Manage project designs, budgets, and schedules
- Communicate with Clients – Schedule meetings, develop agendas and meeting resumes
- Perform routine aspects of assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles
- Oversee and assist in the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructures
- Projects may include roadway design, airport design, utility design, drainage and hydraulic design, erosion control, and civil design
- Oversee and assist in the development and design of projects which consist of the plans, specifications, and estimates
- Perform detailed engineering calculations & analysis, and utilizes design software to solve complex issues
- Prepare engineering studies, documents, and reports
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineering License in the State of Alabama
- 5 -10 years of experience
- Proficient with MicroStation and Inroads
- Familiarity with OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD
- Familiarity with MS Office products
- Must be dependable with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team to meet deadlines and provide high quality work
