Job Description

STRATA provides clients with professional geotechnical engineering, construction inspection, and material testing (CMT) services throughout the intermountain west.  We have been providing services for over 40 years. Currently, STRATA has a Laboratory Services Coordinator position open in our Idaho Falls, Idaho office.   Major Responsibilities:Managing Idaho Falls' laboratory services including performing, analyzing, and communicating laboratory test results to clients and their staff and ensuring deliverables are timely, accurate, and high-quality reports.Maintaining equipment, accreditations, calibrations, and certifications associated with laboratory operations.  Laboratory cleanliness and appearance are important.Accomplishing work in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and other protocols which outline the operational procedures and requirements for STRATA’s laboratories and testing.Coordinating and working closely with other managers, departments, and offices to ensure all of STRATA’s clients (internal and external) are provided with exceptional service and in an efficient and professional manner including resource sharing when possible.Performing testing, inspections, laboratory, and project management, as the workload requires. Hiring, leading, mentoring and developing employees for continued professional development, while controlling risk and liability.  Ensuring a cohesive team that works well together and meets or exceeds goals.Position Requirements 

  • 7+ years of proven experience leading teams in the industry.
  • Applicable Certifications.
  • Basic use of computer and proficiency in Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Adhering to STRATA’s drug and alcohol policy and to our Core Values of:  safety, integrity, respect, professionalism, accountability, and respect.
  • Ability to travel out of town, work overtime, weekends, and holidays when project work is required.
