Job Description
Responsibilities:As a member of an interdisciplinary design team and under the direction of professional engineers:
- Provide technical support to structural engineers working on the design of transportation projects
- Prepare design sketches, drawings and renderings using CADD
- Prepare engineering reports and contract documents such as specifications, schedules and cost estimates.
- Perform field work to investigate existing and construction conditions.
- Cooperate and coordinate with other design team members
Requirements:
- BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with a concentration in Structural Engineering
- Proficiency with Microstation or Autocad, MSWord and Excel
- Familiarity with structural engineering software such as STAAD, CSI Bridge, M. Das and/or SAP
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- FE preferred
