Job Description:WWE is seeking an experienced Water Rights Specialist to join our team in Denver, CO. This role involves various duties related to water rights evaluations, due diligence, water rights accounting, water supply planning, and the preparation of expert reports for water rights adjudications. The successful candidate must have the ability to analyze technical documents, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and work seamlessly with multiple project staff. This role will contribute to project work based out of our Denver, Durango, and Glenwood Springs offices.Required Qualifications:

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize work tasks and delegate when appropriate.
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, watershed science, or an environmental science program with a water resources emphasis.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
  • Experience with Colorado-specific water resources matters.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Colorado Decision Support System (CDSS) TSTools.

Compensation/Benefits:

  • Full-time position, Monday through Friday (8 am-5 pm), with occasional overtime.
  • Compensation range: $70,000 – 90,000 annual salary, based on experience, education, and skills.
