Job Description
Qualifications:
Registered Professional Engineer
BS Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master's Degree preferred)
Minimum 7 years of experience with progressive responsibility (10+ years preferred)
Design experience with a variety of materials, including steel, concrete, masonry and wood
Excellent client service record and communications skills
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software
Familiarity with Revit Structural and/or AutoCAD
Proven ability to think critically and provide support to multiple project teams simultaneously
Business development/marketing experience is preferred
Responsibilities:
Independently handle a wide variety of structural engineering assignments
Assure technical quality and manage schedule and budget for assigned projects
Assist in supervision and development of junior staff
Work with department manager to build and maintain departmental staff, library and resources
Work with project managers to ensure effective and timely delivery of structural design
Collaborate with principals, project managers, and clients to prepare and participate in project proposals and interviews as requested
