The East seem to concentrate many CEE career opportunities with Virginia concentrating 4,59%, and Pennsylvania 5.1% of total jobs posted.
Some of the highest concentrations of jobs in CEE positions can be found in New York where almost 7,9% of 2017 available positions were posted. That sets NY as the third hottest place in US to look for a CEE job.
The second hottest states are located in Florida and Texas that are becoming “hotspots” with 8,6% of total job openings each. It is worth mentioning that Texas had a great increase of 2% compared to 2016 (6.5%).
For a third year in a row, the best place for a Civil, Environmental and Construction engineer to look for a job is by far in the West coast. California, with 11.13% of total jobs posted concentrates the most opportunities!
