Job Description
Basic Job Functions:
Division: NIPG SoutheastLocation: Lewisville, TX, United States Other Available Locations: N/A The role of the detailer is to coordinate customer requirements, drawings, and specifications in order to provide Nucor Insulated Panel Group product installation drawings and bills of materials.
- Interpret Structural and Architectural contract documents correctly and accurately.
- Develop detailed drawings utilizing both commercially available and proprietary software platforms to be used by manufacturing facilities to produce panels and associated accessories.
- Develop accurate and easy to follow, approval and/or construction drawings to assure the installed material meets the required performance specifications.
- Develop Bill of Materials to produce shipping lists of parts and components for plant and customer use.
- Communicate needs and challenges identified to all team members to assure quick disposition of issues.
- Interact with internal and external customers to develop design solutions that meet project specific requirements.
- Maintain a continued awareness of project schedule and budget.
- Meet or exceed department accuracy goals.
- Manage multiple ongoing projects from the design phase through the manufacturing phase(s) and through erection.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diplomaAutoCAD Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous AutoCAD experiencePrevious Inventor, Revit, or other AutoDesk software platform experience
