About the Opportunity
A growing automation and engineering firm is seeking a Robotics Engineer to support a rapidly expanding portfolio of manufacturing and industrial automation projects across North America.This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of robotics and automation projects from concept and simulation through design, programming, commissioning, and client interaction. The team has recently secured several large-scale manufacturing projects and is looking for an engineer who wants to be involved in the full project lifecycle rather than being limited to a single area of responsibility.The environment is collaborative, entrepreneurial, and hands-on, giving engineers exposure to robotics, controls, automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies while working alongside experienced multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, program, and integrate industrial robotic systems.
- Develop and validate robotic simulations and offline programming solutions.
- Support automation projects from concept development through commissioning and startup.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve robotic manufacturing processes.
- Work directly with customers, vendors, and internal engineering teams throughout project execution.
- Support greenfield and brownfield automation projects across a range of manufacturing environments.
- Participate in factory acceptance testing, site commissioning, and startup activities.
- Travel to customer sites as required for project support and implementation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in robotics, automation, or controls engineering.
- Experience programming and integrating industrial robots.
- Strong preference for ABB robotics experience.
- Engineers with FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa/Motoman, or other industrial robotics experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience with robotic simulation and offline programming tools.
- Understanding of manufacturing automation, material handling, or production systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot robotic and automated systems independently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact directly with clients.

- ABB RobotStudio
- PLC and industrial controls experience
- SCADA or HMI systems exposure
- Manufacturing, assembly, material handling, packaging, painting, or process automation applications
- System integration or project engineering experience
- Commissioning and startup support
