Description
The painter's role involves painting all items that pass through the powder coat booth while maintaining a high-quality standard. The position requires a commitment to innovation, passion, integrity, and teamwork.Responsibilities
- Stand and paint all parts for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Recognize paint color extensions accurately.
- Possess a good working knowledge of powder coat application.
- Operate all functions of the Nordson paint booth efficiently.
- Keep pace in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate ideas and issues promptly.
- Maintain high-quality standards.
- Work collaboratively in a team-oriented manner.
- Change paint colors in one minute and 20 seconds.
- Paint manually at a speed of 10 feet per minute.
- Maintain 5S standards in the department.
Essential Skills
- Powder coat experience preferred.
- High School Degree or GED preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to read prints.
- Flexibility to work a 10-hour day for a 4-6 month period.
- Ownership and pride in delivering high-quality products.
- Dependable and reliable work schedule.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in painting, paint prep, and masking.
- Proficiency in taping, metal sanding, and grinding.
- Ability to use hand tools and sand effectively.
- Preferred prior paint prep experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
