Job Description
This contract role focuses on labeling and packaging various adhesive product lines in a production environment. You spend most of your shift on your feet performing repetitive tasks that require consistent attention to detail, including applying hazard labels and maintaining cleanliness in the plant. The work conditions inside the facility vary with the weather, and the position follows a set overnight schedule.
Responsibilities
- Label and package different lines of adhesive products according to established standards and instructions.
- Apply appropriate hazard labels to packages accurately and consistently.
- Perform repetitive production tasks with steady pace and focus throughout the shift.
- Sweep and maintain cleanliness in the plant, keeping work areas organized and free of debris.
- Follow warehouse and general production procedures for packing, assembly, and picking tasks as assigned.
- Stand and work on your feet for up to 8 hours per day while handling packaging and general labor duties.
- Monitor product labels and packaging for accuracy and quality, correcting any errors promptly.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and plant rules while working in conditions influenced by outside weather.
- Support overall production flow by assisting with general labor and general production tasks when needed.
Essential Skills
- Ability to stand on your feet for 8 hours per day.
- Strong attention to detail when labeling and packaging products.
- Comfort performing very repetitive tasks and maintaining consistency over time.
- Experience or familiarity with warehouse, packaging, production, general labor, or general production work.
- Reliability and good tenure, demonstrating steady work history and commitment to scheduled shifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in labeling or packing roles.
- Experience in assembly, picking, or similar warehouse tasks.
- Ability to work independently while following clear instructions.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment.

Work Environment
This position is based in a production plant where you work primarily on 3rd shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. You remain on your feet for most of the shift while handling labeling, packaging, and general labor tasks. The conditions inside the plant are influenced by the weather outside, so temperatures may vary. The environment is typical of a warehouse and production setting, with an emphasis on cleanliness, sweeping, and keeping work areas orderly. Dress comfortably and appropriately for a manufacturing environment, including closed-toe shoes and practical clothing suitable for standing and performing repetitive tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Bend, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
