Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction surveys, as well as supporting a variety of public and private development projects throughout Connecticut and the region. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with engineers, planners, architects, and construction professionals on a wide range of exciting projects.Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of land surveying experience (field and office)
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Connecticut preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey software (e.g., Trimble Business Center)
- Strong understanding of GPS, Total Station, and data collection equipment
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, boundary documentation, and zoning regulations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites
