What You'll Do As a Project Engineer, your mid-level position will take an increasingly responsible role in the management of projects, while continuing to gain experience in planning, design, and implementation. You'll be immersed in corporate operating procedures which include, but are not limited to, project profitability, invoicing and collections, and business development. Exposure to a wide variety of responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

  • Work with the design team on Land Development construction drawings and permitting packages
  • Perform grading w/ AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater management calculations with HydroCAD
  • Prepare and complete E&S control plans and NPDES permit packages
  • Researching zoning codes and ordinance requirements for project sites
  • Assistance with Project and Production Managers to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Coordination with municipalities, utility companies, and other public regulatory agencies
  • Prepare project technical reports and specifications

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • EIT candidates are preferred, active EIT or PE a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience and have understanding of Site Civil Design/ Land Development
  • High-level of proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D experience a plus
  • Displayed competency with hydraulic modeling software such as HydroCAD, HydraFlow and HEC-RAS
  • Understanding of the local and state permitting process in Pennsylvania
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
