Job Description
Senior Scheduler - Atlanta, GA (On-site/office based only)Work for a top 10 ENR General Contractor on Hyperscale Data Center Projects!Our client is looking for a Senior Scheduler to lead scheduling/planning for a number of large data center construction projects. With projects all over the South East, and for this role Atlanta, you will play a pivotal role to ensure projects run smoothly according to timelines and that project milestones are achieved and delays mitigated.With a project backlog of at least 8+ years, the firm is experiencing significant growth in the mission critical market.Key responsibilities of the position:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for all phases of construction.
- Break down project scope into manageable tasks with defined start and finish dates.
- Allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to scheduled activities.
- Perform critical path analysis to identify key tasks impacting project timelines.
- Coordinate schedules with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against planned timelines.
- Update and revise schedules based on changes in scope, resource availability, or external factors.
- Identify and forecast potential delays and implement corrective actions or contingency plans.
- Prepare and distribute regular progress reports highlighting variances and risks.
- Ensure schedules comply with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
