Your work will balance strategic oversight, team leadership, and hands-on project support.You'll work closely with Delivery Leader's and regional practice leaders, ensuring smooth operations while nurturing a culture of learning, accountability, and excellence. Leadership & Team Development
- Build, guide, and support a dynamic team of survey professionals.
- Encourage interdisciplinary teamwork and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Oversee team performance, manage workloads, and ensure optimal resource allocation.
Project Leadership
- Provide direction on technical execution to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
- Assess and refine project scopes, timelines, and budget estimates.
- Step into leadership roles on projects as needed to ensure successful delivery.
Operational Strategy
- Strategically deploy team members to align with organizational goals and project needs.
- Uphold internal standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance practices.
- Drive innovation through the adoption of emerging technologies and process enhancements.
Client Relations & Market Growth
- Apply and maintain compliance with client-specific requirements, particularly for public agencies like Caltrans.
- Contribute to identifying new business prospects and expanding the firms regional and national presence.
What You'll Bring to the Role
- Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in any U.S. state (California preferred).
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in land surveying.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage projects, and cultivate client relationships.
- Knowledge of DOT / Local Agency procedures and standards is advantageous.
- Strong leadership qualities marked by strategic insight, empathy, and clear communication.
