Job Description

  As a Water Resources Project Engineer at WWE, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on innovative and dynamic projects related to stream restoration, floodplain modeling, mud/debris flow analysis, fish passage/barrier design, stormwater design, ditch and diversion structure design, watershed analysis, water quality evaluation, pond design, and more. The successful candidate will use problem-solving, critical thinking, and a strong work ethic to thrive both independently and within project teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional integrity will contribute to our cohesive company culture and build trusting client relationships. The qualified engineer will have experience in design, hydrology, and hydraulics. The candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, one to four years of relevant professional experience, and preferably an Engineer-in-Training (EI) certification. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD/Civil3D and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, EPA SWMM). A background in GIS, geomorphology, and regulatory floodplain matters is a plus. Compensation/Benefits:

  • Full-time position
  • Compensation range (salary) is $70,000-90,000 (commensurate with experience, education, and skills)
