You will be leading the bridge inspection efforts and helping to train other inspection and engineering staff for this project.   • At least 15 - 20 years of experience as a structural inspector or related position
  • Experience inspecting bridge construction, specifically monitoring rebar placement, concrete pours, post-tensioning operations, and grouting procedures
  • Strong technical skills in concrete bridge construction
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work with others
  • Desire to grow personally as well as professionally
  • Self-motivated professional


Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Knowledge of Caltrans construction inspection manuals, procedures, and practices
  • Demonstrated experience inspecting at least one concrete box girder bridge constructed by CIP or precast balanced cantilever construction in the last 15 years

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
