Job Description

  As a Mobilisation Leader you are responsible for the preparation and execution of mobilisation of geotechnical and/or laboratory equipment spread for a project. You ensure that this is done in an effective, efficient and safe way according to the agreed procedures while taking into account the project requirements and the situation on board.  Documentation for transport as well as proper registration in the Equipment Management Systems is also part of your duties. In addition, you are the contact person for the other geotechnical offshore companies in the EUAF region with regards to laboratory requirements and consumables.Your role

  • You prepare mobilisation lists for equipment, laboratory and consumables for projects, and execute mobilisation according to the mobilisation process;
  • You perform and witness System Acceptance Test (SAT) test before shipment and ensure that equipment shipped has a valid test or load certificate;
  • You take care of accurate registration of equipment ID’s etc. in the Equipment Management System;
  • You provide loading plans for containers and/or lorries and accurate documentation to the logistic manager for further processing;
  • You draft and review required procedures/documents and implement a proper stock control of laboratory consumables on board of the vessels;
  • You standardise the offshore laboratory equipment spreads in the EUAF region and communicate with the various stakeholders about the project requirements.

Your track record

  • You have a completed higher vocational education with preferably an electrical or mechanical background;
  • You have previous working experience in a similar role;
  • You are a good communicator with a proactive and systematic approach;
  • You have a flexible attitude with the ability to multitask;
  • You are fluent in both Dutch and English (written and spoken).
