Job Description

  About the PositionWe are seeking Process Engineer I to join our growing Process Industrial team in Peachtree Corners, GA office. The ideal candidate possesses 0-3 years of related experience.Knowledge and Experience:

  • This position requires 0 to 3+ years of relevant industrial experience in chemical, bio-chemical, mechanical, or petroleum process design engineering
  • Basic knowledge of chemical process engineering with knowledge in use of process and hydraulic simulation software such as AutoCAD, AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow, PIPE-FLO Aspen Plus, HYSYS, CHEMCAD, Promax, PRO II etc.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineer from an accredited university is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Generally responsible for assisting in process engineering assignments in multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Assist in developing process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, layouts, equipment specification and cost studies.
  • Assist in producing engineering calculations, drafting, preliminary designs and material take-offs suitable for appropriate level of cost estimate.
  • Perform fieldwork to gather and verify field data and provide construction support.
  • Willing to travel as required for on-site work, project meetings, client presentations, or training opportunities (Up to 25% Travel)

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Engineer-In-Training license preferred.

SOFTWARE SKILLS

  • -Proficient in MS. Office
  • -Process software i.e. ASPEN Plus, HYSYS, CHEMCAD, Promax, PRO II
  • -Drafting software i.e.. AutoCAD, MicroStation
  • - Hydraulic software i.e. AFT Fathom, Arrow, PIPE-FLO

LANGUAGE SKILLSMust be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.PHYSICAL DEMANDS  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Process Engineer I with a salary range of $65,600.00 - $99,800.00 .
