Ardaman has the following opportunity available:
Geotechnical Laboratory TechnicianFull time position in a Soils Laboratory in Houston, TX. Candidate will be required to perform basic geotechnical laboratory testing. Tests include visual classification, moisture content, density, compressive strength, Atterberg limits and particle size analysis. Tasks will include sample extrusion and soil sample processing. Prior experience preferred, but training under supervision of laboratory manager will be provided. Qualifications: Able to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs; a safe driving record; willing to work weekends and overtime as required; willing to work on out of town assignments as required; Candidate must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Must have good algebra skills, have good organizational skills, a good attitude, get along well in a team environment and be safety minded in all aspects of his work. Individual should be physically fit and able to spend extended hours working in the laboratory. Local candidates preferred; no relocation.
