Subsoil investigations and assessments for larger buildings and infrastructure measures at home and abroad are among our core competencies. A team of numerous specialists evaluates data, creates models and reports and makes recommendations. We also control and monitor measures on large construction sites. For our location in Pegau we are looking for building material testers / employees in the soil mechanics laboratory (m/f/d). Her area of responsibility includes carrying out laboratory tests for subsoil investigations for quality assurance. You will accompany and support our team in assessing subsoil-related risks, preparing geotechnical reports and dealing with complex geotechnical issues.WHAT YOU TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR IN YOUR JOB
- Soil mechanical investigation and assessment of soils
- Preparation and execution of soil mechanics laboratory tests in accordance with DIN and DIN EN ISO.
- Evaluation and creation of result protocols from soil mechanics laboratory tests
- Supporting the project engineers regarding data collection and data management

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOU
- Successfully completed training as a building materials tester or several years of experience in this field
- Knowledge of soil mechanics laboratory studies
- Sense of responsibility and care. Technical understanding and enjoyment of manual work
- Basic knowledge of geological and geotechnical issues is desirable
- Fluent knowledge of German
- Team player personality and very good communication skills
- Car driving license
- Professional interest, flexibility, ability to learn, willingness to work, resilience
