Job Description

Summary/Objective EnviroSmart DBA ES-Integrated is seeking a Utility Pipe Layer to join our Construction division.  We perform construction site services  such as clearing, grading, SWPPP maintenance, stormwater, sewer, water, pump stations, concrete curb/gutter, concrete sidewalks, and asphalt, etc. ES-Integrated prides itself on adhering to all relevant safety and quality control policies and procedures for all job sites/work we do. We ensures that all work meets or exceeds the customer's and company’s expectations, produces satisfactory profits, meet time limitations and contractual requirements.Essential Functions

  • Ability to install waterline, storm, and sewer pipeline
  • Ability to place pipe in trench
  • Ability to install trench boxes
  • Ability to assist supervisor in placing pipe on grade
  • Ability to assist supervisor in tie-ins to storm, water and sewer
  • Equipment operating skills is a plus
  • New construction and repairing existing
  • Placement of ductile, concrete and steel piping
  • Performs general construction work

Required Eligibility Qualifications

  • 1 -3 years prior experience with installation/repair/maintenance associated with underground utilities
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Requires excellent technical skills
  • Requires knowledge of safety requirements
  • Integrity and strong communication skills

Preferred Eligibility Qualifications

  • CDL A or B
  • Heavy Equipment Operations

  • Ability to perform duties in cold and inclement weather and use safety devices such as protective masks, goggles, and gloves
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance and spend the majority of the day in a non-seated position
  • Working within confined spaces (after required training) at varying depths
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times

  • Typical hours of work are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Monday through Friday unless otherwise required by a job/project
