We are constantly embracing ways for our employees to grow professionally.We are seeking a Senior Engineering Soil Technician to join our Rancho Cucamonga team.Pay Scale: $29.00 - $37.00 Per HourFull time - Non exemptPosition Duties:

• Manage multiple grading projects, including large hillside grading projects
• Maintain and organize field records, maps and data
• Perform site investigation, observation and testing
• Reads and comprehends the conclusions and recommendations of geotechnical reports and plan sets, and implements their requirements in the fieldIdentify soils and have a knowledge of general earthwork and grading specifications
• Prepare field dailies, memos, reports and proposals
• Draw cross-sections from plans or field mapping
• Interface effectively with project managers, technicians, contractors and clients
• Train other soil technicians

Requirements:

• Must know basic soil engineering and able to visually identify all soil types
• 5 - 7 years of active field experience on large earthwork and hillside grading
• Must know geologic formations in the area
• Must have a knowledge of general earthwork and grading specifications
• Provide own vehicle for off-road use
• Strong organization and written/verbal communication skills
• Use of testing / reporting software on company provided tablet
• Ability to lift and or move up to 50 pounds
• Must earn 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
