Job Description
Position requires a Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, a PE license in Connecticut, and at least 8 years of experience. Responsible for project management, from preparation of proposals through subsurface explorations, engineering evaluation, report preparation, construction observation, and project close-out. Requires assisting in the day to day geotechnical operations of Freeman Companies, mentor younger geotechnical staff, and assist with other company operations as necessary. Requires making independent decisions (as appropriate) on engineering issues and methods based upon practical experience and delivering quality results with a profitable solution, and applying diverse technical knowledge of engineering principles to varied situations and projects. Requires being active in professional societies.
