Bridge Engineering Director Bridge Engineering Ohio Full-time Remote or Hybrid Lead and grow GAI Consultants’ Ohio Bridge Engineering Group. You will set the technical direction for highway bridges, retaining walls, and box culverts for ODOT, the Ohio Turnpike (OTIC), and local governments, with regional work in Indiana, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. At GAI, you get direct access to leadership and the stability of a firm founded in 1958, with the chance to build a practice faster than at a larger national firm.
What You Will Do- Lead bridge design, load rating, and plans, calculations, and specifications to AASHTO and ODOT standards.
- Drive client relationships and business development.
- Prepare proposals, scopes, and cost estimates.
- Manage quality, budgets, and schedules.
- Mentor engineers and grow the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 14+ years of bridge design experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- ODOT, OTIC, or local agency bridge projects.
- Business development in the Ohio market.
Location and Travel Remote or hybrid within Ohio. Occasional client meetings and site visits. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Pay $180,000 to $210,000 per year. Benefits
