Job Description
DescriptionThe Civil Engineer will support water, wastewater, and site/civil infrastructure projects through advanced civil design and engineering calculations for both Municipal and Industrial clients. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing Civil 3D models and engineering drawings for water, wastewater, stormwater, sewer, roadway, and land development projects while ensuring compliance with client standards, quality procedures, and project schedules.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Civil 3D models and drawings for civil infrastructure projects.
- Develop grading, site layout, utility, roadway, and plan & profile drawings.
- Model surfaces, alignments, corridors, pipe networks, and related Civil 3D components.
- Review engineering markups, survey, and GIS data.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and BMUS engineers.
- Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with client and company standards.
- Resolve technical issues and support project delivery within schedule.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to Civil 3D standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 - 8 years of experience in General Civil Engineering, preferably in water, wastewater, municipal infrastructure, or land development projects.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Experience in grading, roadway, stormwater, sanitary sewer, water distribution, and land development.
- Good understanding of Civil 3D standards, drafting practices, and reinforced concrete detailing.
- Familiarity with survey data, GIS, and U.S. municipal standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
