  • Key Line diagram (Protection SLD)
  • Schematic drawings (Line protection, Transformer Protection, SVC protection, Capacitor bank protection, Busbar protection, Breaker Fail schemes etc.)
  • Panel General Arrangement & BOQ, Wiring diagrams, Interface drawings, Interconnection schedules
  • Relay Assembled forms, AC/DC Auxiliary schematics
  • Relay Setting calculation for various protection schemes
  • Hands on experience with Numerical relay configurations (SIEMENS, ABB, GE etc) including IEC61850 configurations for Digital substations is desirable
  • Working experience on Australia/New Zealand projects is desirable but not mandatory
  • Capable of working under challenging workload subject to change at short notice.
  • Good communication & IT skills.
  • Clear knowledge of work procedures, and ability to work independently.
  • Delivering Drawings to desired quality standards and according to mutually agreed timelines with the client.
  • Able to communicate confidently with client or Foreign counterpart.
  • Working in team to deliver projects on time.
  • Attending meetings with project leads/Engineers.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD & basic knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical other tools
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, and MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Work with client and project managers to understand client requirements for key projects.
  • Manage technical relationships and build appropriate level contacts with key clients.
  • Resolution of client’s queries
  • Strengthening of client relationships through excellent in project delivery and technical performance.
  • Continuous commitment to Learning & Development.
  • Supporting projects through delivery, HSEC, quality and client service.
  • Working in conjunction with DPE’s and PM’s to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Working with the GID counterpart to deliver the expected performance on the project
  • Understanding the commercial aspects of projects.

Here's what you'll needAbout you

  • Qualifications
    • BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech Electrical
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in protection & control field (Substation experience up to 400/765kV is desirable)
  •  Office Location
    • Mumbai , Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad
  •  Required Skills
    • Familiarity with IEC 61850 and numerical relays
    • Experience in medium to high voltage substations design, Solar, Wind and Battery storage (renewables) relevant to the market.
    • Strong understanding of International standards, respective country Grid codes and able to interpret the requirements.
    • Excellent Technical Report writing skills.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate a clear technical direction.
    • Hands on experience in operating design software’s like AutoCAD, DIGSI 5, PCM600, Ener vista, MicroStation.
    • Experience of Python programming and ETAP is preferred.
    • Presenting well to clients (internal and external) and having good social and networking skills.
    • Capacity to work within teams to solve technical problems and achieve a high level of assurance on project deliverables.
  •  Preferred Skills
    • Optional experience in Digital substations design.
    • Optional experience in Relay setting and configuration.
