Dan maken wij graag kennis met jou!Als Projectingenieur Geotechniek lever je een essentiële bijdrage aan de ontwikkeling en realisatie van grootschalige civiele projecten. • Sluizencomplex Gent-Terneuzen: Een cruciale schakel in de Seine-Schelde-verbinding, waarbij Arcadis instaat voor onder andere geotechnische analyses, funderingsadvies, grondmechanica, hydraulische berekeningen en systems engineering.
• Oosterweelverbinding: De ontsluiting van de Antwerpse Ring, met geotechnisch ontwerp en advies voor civiele structuren en grondwerken.
• R0 (Ring rond Brussel): Herinrichting van de noordelijke Ring, met geotechnische ondersteuning voor wegen, kunstwerken en andere infrastructuur.

Jouw functie: Geotechnisch expert en teamspeler

• Je werkt mee aan het ontwerp, de analyse en uitwerking van geotechnische aspecten binnen civiele projecten, zoals grondmechanica, funderingen, stabiliteit van taluds, damwanden, kademuren en tunnels.
• Je ondersteunt bij de ontwikkeling van concepten, voorstudies, technische detailstudies, ramingen, bestekken en meetstaten op geotechnisch vlak.
• Je werkt nauw samen met collega-ingenieurs, ontwerpers, projectleiders en externe partners om tot optimale oplossingen te komen.
• Je stelt geotechnische rapporten op en vertaalt onderzoeksresultaten naar praktische ontwerpen en adviezen.
• Je volgt de uitvoering van geotechnische werken op en controleert de kwaliteit tijdens de realisatie op de werf.
• Je onderhoudt contacten met interne en externe stakeholders gedurende het hele project.
• Je blijft je kennis en vaardigheden ontwikkelen via opleidingen, praktijkervaring en het delen van kennis binnen het team.

Jouw profiel: Gedreven ingenieur geotechniek

• Je beschikt over een diploma Burgerlijk of Industrieel Ingenieur Bouwkunde.
• Je hebt een uitgesproken interesse in geotechniek, civiele techniek en duurzaamheid binnen complexe projecten.
• Je hebt ervaring of affiniteit met grondmechanica, funderingstechniek en geotechnische modellering.
• Je bent leergierig, hebt een positieve instelling en werkt graag samen in multidisciplinaire teams.
• Je bent klantgericht, resultaatgericht en beschikt over een sterk organisatievermogen.
• Kennis en ervaring met geotechnische software zoals Plaxis, D-Sheet (en eventueel Scia) is een absolute plus.

Then we'd love to meet you!As a Geotechnical Project Engineer, you'll make a vital contribution to the development and realization of large-scale civil engineering projects. At Arcadis, you'll have the space and support to continuously develop your geotechnical knowledge and skills, and you'll collaborate with experienced colleagues in multidisciplinary teams.Examples of projects:

• Ghent-Terneuzen Lock Complex: A crucial link in the Seine-Scheldt connection, where Arcadis is responsible for geotechnical analyses, foundation advice, soil mechanics, hydraulic calculations, and systems engineering.
• Oosterweel Connection: The development of the Antwerp Ring Road, including geotechnical design and advice for civil engineering structures and earthworks.
• R0 (Brussels Ring Road): Redevelopment of the northern ring road, with geotechnical support for roads, structures and other infrastructure.

Your role: Geotechnical expert and team player

• You will contribute to the design, analysis, and elaboration of geotechnical aspects within civil engineering projects, such as soil mechanics, foundations, stability of embankments, sheet piles, quay walls, and tunnels.
• You will assist in the development of concepts, preliminary studies, technical detail studies, estimates, specifications, and bill of quantities in the geotechnical field.
• You work closely with fellow engineers, designers, project managers and external partners to arrive at optimal solutions.
• You prepare geotechnical reports and translate research results into practical designs and advice.
• You monitor the execution of geotechnical works and check the quality during implementation on site.
• You maintain contacts with internal and external stakeholders throughout the entire project.
• You continue to develop your knowledge and skills through training, practical experience and knowledge sharing within the team.

Your profile: Driven geotechnical engineer

• You have a degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering.
• You have a strong interest in geotechnics, civil engineering and sustainability within complex projects.
• You have experience or an affinity with soil mechanics, foundation engineering and geotechnical modelling.
• You are eager to learn, have a positive attitude and enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams.
• You are customer-oriented, results-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge and experience with geotechnical software such as  Plaxis, D-Sheet  (and possibly Scia) is an absolute plus.
