Job Description

  My client is seeking a dynamic Senior Structural Engineer / Manager to lead their growing structures team. This leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a seller-doer model, combining technical excellence with business development skills. The successful candidate will have the drive to lead, mentor, and deliver high-quality work while managing a fully remote team of three engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the structural engineering team (currently 3 remote team members).
  • Oversee project delivery and ensure adherence to high standards of quality.
  • Act as a seller-doer, contributing to business development while remaining hands-on in technical work.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to new hires and team members.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support company growth and client satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 8-10 years in structural engineering (10 years strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead and manage remote teams effectively.
  • Strong technical expertise and industry reputation.
  • Growth-oriented mindset with a passion for professional development.
  • Quick decision-making skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
