Job Description
My client is seeking a dynamic Senior Structural Engineer / Manager to lead their growing structures team. This leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a seller-doer model, combining technical excellence with business development skills. The successful candidate will have the drive to lead, mentor, and deliver high-quality work while managing a fully remote team of three engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the structural engineering team (currently 3 remote team members).
- Oversee project delivery and ensure adherence to high standards of quality.
- Act as a seller-doer, contributing to business development while remaining hands-on in technical work.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to new hires and team members.
- Collaborate with leadership to support company growth and client satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 8-10 years in structural engineering (10 years strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to lead and manage remote teams effectively.
- Strong technical expertise and industry reputation.
- Growth-oriented mindset with a passion for professional development.
- Quick decision-making skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
