You will assist our team in various aspects of geospatial data collection, processing, and analysis, and learn about industry-standard procedures and software.Project opportunities may include supporting the surveying and mapping of civil infrastructure, urban development, and environmental monitoring projects. You'll work alongside experienced Surveyors, Engineers, and Project Managers, gaining valuable insights into geospatial and land surveying technologies and their applications in building and infrastructure.Your Responsibilities May Include: • Assist in data collection using various surveying instruments such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanners• Support the processing and analysis of geospatial data using specialized software• Help create and update GIS databases and maps for infrastructure projects• Support the integration of geospatial data with other project information (e.g., CAD drawings, BIM models)• Assist in the preparation of survey reports, plans, and technical documentationHere's what you'll need• In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Geomatics, Geospatial Technologies, Civil Engineering, Surveying Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution• Familiarity with geospatial software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or Trimble Business Center• Experience with data collection equipment like total stations, GPS receivers, or laser scannersIdeally, You Will Have:• 3.0 GPA• At least a rising Junior• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy• Ability to work effectively in a team environment• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the futureOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
