While the reporting structure is through Civil and Aviation, this role involves overseeing multiple disciplines, business units and a varied client base within the Darwin team.
You’ll be responsible for providing and leading design consultancy and engineering services across the Northern Territory and Queensland regions, offering technical input and direction while working closely with Design Managers, Project Leads, and Project Managers to deliver outstanding outcomes.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with commercial, project management, engineering, and design leaders to plan, develop, and operate a diverse portfolio of projects, while supporting the growth and development of the team. You’ll play a key part in building design capability, strengthening client relationships, and integrating with our Global Integrated Delivery centres to enhance delivery capability and meet targets.
Your responsibilities will span managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring compliance with Jacobs’ standards and client quality requirements, articulating and delivering Digital Engineering and BIM solutions, and fostering a project culture aligned with our values. You’ll oversee design deliverables, manage budgets, support tenders and proposals, and lead effective project teams, coaching and mentoring talent to build capability across the organisation. - Bachelor’s in Engineering
- Experience in Business Development and client management
- Excellent people leadership skills
- Advanced knowledge of Jacobs systems and processes
