Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a Civil Engineer for assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. The selected candidate will work on site development, site master planning and site selection. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm ** This position can work a Hybrid schedule in Omaha **** This position requires a Professional Engineer License (PE) **
Responsibilities
- Underground utility routing and site space planning- Hydrology analysis for designing storm drain systems- Analyzing and designing gravitational wastewater systems- Performing final grading plans including cut and fill analysis and earthwork balancing- Providing erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans and support permit approval- Researching and adhering to local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements for design and construction in any given area- Stormwater analysis and modeling in software applications, such as StormCAD and CivilStorm
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering- 4 - 8 years experience- A Professional Engineer License (PE)- Advanced proficiency with Civil 3D
