- Working on a variety of projects.
- Ability to interact with a wide variety of clients and contractors.
- Knowledge of structural design software.
- Ability to investigate construction related issues for new and existing structures.
- Preparation and review of technical reports.
- Provision of Quality Control and Quality Assurance services.
- Travel to various sites to undertake field reviews.
- Become actively engaged in a significant volunteer role with a variety of trade associations.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Experienced with the Manitoba Building Codes and various material CSA standards.
- Interest to work on projects in architectural and industrial based projects.
- A self-starter who is innovative and enjoys working in a team environment.
Education and ExperienceDiploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent education.Minimum 4 years' experience in CAD, BIM and Navisworks operation and design working on buildings projectsTypical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
