Job Description

  • Assists and monitors on-site construction activities to ensure that the quality of materials, workmanship, and products meets the standards set in the approved construction contract documents.  
  • Prepares, submits, and maintains daily records of work activities, quantities used, and site conditions.  
  • Conducts inspections and site observations as needed to document the quality of the work being performed.  
  • Reports any documented work quality issues to the Quality Assurance Engineer and the Resident Engineer.  
  • Updates contract documents with redlines as minor changes are made in the field.   
  • Assists in the development and implementation of project quality control plans. Recommends corrective and preventive actions and implements the necessary action plans to address deficiencies. 




 Here's what you'll needA minimum of five (3-5) years of experience working on construction, remodeling, retrofitting, rail, or mass transit projects or on projects within the general infrastructure environment such as track maintenance, electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, etc. Ability and knowledge to read and understand contract specifications and drawings. Experience can be substituted for education on a year-for-year basisOSHA 30 and Authority's Safety Compliance Certifications preferredOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
