The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating and a keen eye for detail, capable of handling a wide variety of projects across our diverse divisions.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
- Maintain and update cost databases and estimating software.
- Provide value engineering and cost-saving solutions.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
