Job Description
Survey CADD Tech
Location : Manassas, VA
Role and Responsibilities:
- Company Culture: Emphasizes client-focus, safety, accountability, high professional standards, and timely, error-free work.
- Survey Drafting: Includes boundary, ALTA, topographic, right-of-way acquisition, transmission line, transportation, and construction surveys.
- Field Crew Preparation: Assists the Project Manager.
- Data Processing: Handles field collection files and database maintenance.
- Digital Terrain Models: Prepares models and contouring.
- Research: Conducts deed, plat, and document research, and reviews titles and easements.
- Survey Deliverables: Prepares as-built, boundary, topographic, tree, and utility surveys.
- Field Work: Occasionally works in the field and understands safe traffic procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: 1-3 years of survey experience.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in data collection software and survey equipment (GPS, Robotics, Total Stations, Levels, and Data Collectors).
- Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license.
- Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills.
- Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
- Computer Skills: Strong computer and data collector skills.
- Mathematical Skills: Strong mathematical skills.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime as needed.
