Arora and Associates, PC is seeking qualified applicants for the following position in our Pennsylvania Market:Structural (Bridge) EngineerDuties:
As a member of a design team:
• Perform or supervise structural analyses, design and detailing of bridges
• Prepare or supervise the preparation of contract plans
• Visit project sites to collect information
• Write or assist in the writing of reports and correspondence
• Review and respond to contractor submittals such as shop drawings and RFIs.
• Interact with clients and contractors.Requirements:
• BS in Civil Engineering with concentration in Structural Engineering.
• PE license in PA.
• 5-10 years’ progressive experience in bridge design and rehabilitation.
• Ability to guide entry level structural designers.
• Thorough knowledge of PennDOT and PTC Policies and Procedures.
• Familiarity with PennDOT structural software.
• Familiarity with MicroStation. Preferred Attributes:
• MS in Structural Engineering
• Experience in:
o Bridge inspection
o CBSI certificationPositions are available in our Bethlehem PA and Harrisburg, PA locations.
