LaBella Assocaites is looking for an entry level Engineer to join our Civil Division.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Storm water and wastewater infiltration testing and design.
  • Pavement evaluation and assessment.
  • Development of detailed construction drawings and specifications for steep slopes, site retaining walls, culverts, and pavement sections.
  • Field oversight of subsurface investigations and soil investigation services. Flexible schedule to arrive at project sites at required times, out of town work periodically.
  • Perform technical analysis and provide parameters for design based on subsurface investigation results.
  • Prepare interpretive engineering reports.
  • Perform field inspections during the construction phase, as needed.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in civil engineering or related field experience.
  • 0 to 5 years of progressive civil engineering experience with a focus on soil based design.
  • EIT or the ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • AutoCAD basic drafting capability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft productivity suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate efficiently with teammates in different disciplines and different locations.
  • Drivers license required
  • Possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects. Ability and willingness to receive and understand instructions/guidance and complete tasks independently.
  • Ability to travel to different work sites.

Salary Range: $63,000 - $78,000
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
