Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assign and coordinate all trade field assignments with the needs of various projects.
  • Review project schedules with the client’s team. Ensure that critical activities and decisions remain on task.
  • Document project field issues that impact budget, quality or schedule, and provide to the project management team.
  • Respond to subcontractor requests for field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule.
  • Provide guidance in implementing the QA/QC program.
  • Work in unison with the on-site safety team and ensure that all subcontractors are in safety compliance.
  • Maintain a progression/succession plan for all high-potential tradesmen in conjunction with the Operations Manager (OM).
  • Support the Project Executive, Construction Manager and Project Manager to support development of logistics plans and schedules during pre-construction and early project activities.


REQUIREMENT/EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management (or related field) preferred.  
  • 3+ years of related construction supervisory experience as either an MEP or General Superintendent for mission-critical data center projects.
  • Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite, SAP, SharePoint, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to travel 50%+ of the time.

  • Experience with Division 2-10 (concrete through finish trade)
  • Demonstrate effective relationship-building within the project team and throughout the Company.
  • Keep field team members (i.e. Superintendent) informed and active in decision-making.

  • Identifies and acts on ways to add value.
  • Is flexible and changes quickly based on the company’s changing needs.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:

  • $45.00-$65.00/hour, depending on experience.
  • Local candidates preferred. Per diem available for candidates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of the project location.
