We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill an AutoCAD Civil 3D Design Engineer position in any of our offices. Current projects that we are looking for your assistance include commercial sites, large residential subdivisions, water/sewer projects & large multi-phase projects. The goal is to build immersive civil 3d models to manage the project information & creating smart drawings to manage cad changes efficiently. Responsibilities include working as part of a team in all facets of civil engineering including land development, municipal and athletic related projects. Build and manage a complete plan set based on best engineering practices and following all local codes & requirements. Hosting virtual “Teams” meetings a plus to share work progress with clients and update information on the fly. We are seeking leaders that can and will commit to a project and think independently.Duties
- Create detailed designs and diagrams with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Calculate dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materials.
- Liaison with Designers and Engineers to gather requirements and designs.
- Design diagrams, maps, and layouts to illustrate construction workflow.
- Prepare and review rough sketches and review them along with the engineering team.
- Manage multiple priorities and projects for multiple teams.
- Participate in adapting tools and techniques to facilitate efficient project execution.
- Perform quality reviews of peers and Junior resources.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 10 years minimum of AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required including grading, surfaces, cut/fill analyses, and pipe networks for gravity sanitary and storm sewer systems.
- AS in CADD, Engineering, Architecture, or a degree from a technical college.
- Exemplary skilled in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experienced with schedule management.
- Self-performing individual, previous leadership experience preferred.
- Prior relevant work experience and knowledge expected.
- Seeking a positive and friendly personality.
- Experience in Bluebeam or GIS a plus but not required.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $95,000 per yearThe specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
