Job Description

  About the PositionWe are seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our growing team in Peachtree Corners, GA. The ideal candidate will have a Construction Management Degree or 2 to 3 years of related experience. The successful candidate will be mentored by our dynamic team of engineering and construction professionals while supporting/leading a range of multidisciplinary projects. The APM will also interface with clients and support proposal development.Knowledge and Experience:

  • Coordinates additional architectural, engineering and drafting support to their project.
  • Supports Project Manager and Field Superintendent for assigned projects.
  • Assists in producing/maintaining safety and QA/QC documentation.
  • Assists in producing pre-bills.
  • Assists in planning projects.
  • Assists in planning and organizing the project, ensures that all project team members are informed of the scope of work, schedules, client requirements and fee allocation.
  • Coordinates assigned projects with the Project Architects/Engineers and other managers and support staff to assist with meeting budgets and schedule deadlines.
  • Establishes subcontractor files when needed.
  • Coordinates the flow of information between the client and design staff.
  • Coordinates and monitors technical reviews to maintain production schedules.
  • Assists with constructability reviews to maintain project schedules.
  • Proficient in MS Office and software programs applicable to job type.
  • Updates and maintains body of knowledge related to training, degree or job responsibilities.
  • Completes assigned work on time and within budget.
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • BS in engineering or a construction-related field
  • 0-2 Years of Experience
  • Proficient with relevant software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Bluebeam, On-Screen Take-Off (OST)
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work.
  • Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
  • Travel to project sites could be required up to 75% but will vary depending upon project.

 Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Assistant Project Manager I with a salary range of $57,900.00 - $85,200.00 .
