Construction Observation Technician

 We are looking for a motivated Engineering Technician to work in Rockford, IL office. The right candidate can be interested in our construction observation. We are interested in talented, trustworthy and skilled people who are passionate about providing personalized attention to our clients.

What you’ll doYou’ll prepare project notes, calculations and summary sheets following procedures, and create and interpret CAD drawings. You'll support the engineering and environmental functions of the firm.  The workweek will exceed 40 hours, especially during construction season.
You’ll support the engineering and environmental functions of the firm. We promote a team environment, so you’ll work with fellow engineering technicians, engineers, environmental scientists and many more people. And you'll develop leadership skills that build autonomy.

What it takesAn associate degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Technology, Architecture Technology or CAD Drafting from a technical college or institution is preferred. Relevant experience may offset the educational requirement. You must have a valid driver’s license. No matter the position, you should speak and write well. You should also have strong analytical and organizational skills. You must be a team player.
