CQA (Construction Quality Assurance) Internship – Alabama A CQA intern with TTL is given the opportunity to work on a wide variety of project types and teams providing an opportunity to explore varying interests and develop passions. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, organized, creative, and responsible individual interested in working as part of a team, while developing personal technical and professional skills required for being a successful practicing engineer. Description:
- Provide CQA Services on CCR and Landfill projects including but not limited to Clay and Geosynthetic Liner Inspections.
- Monitors, observes, and samples the materials used in construction work.
- May assist with or conduct Construction Materials Testing services.
- Prepares daily reports and data sheets. Operates with close to moderate supervision.
- Must possess a high level of verbal and written communication skills to be successful in this role.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to communicate effectively with fellow employees
- Must be able to work independently as well as a team environment
