Position Description: EnviroSmart Inc. is seeking a Federal Program Manager (FPM) with responsibility for the direct management and development of our facility operations support services portfolio that are financially supported by the federal government. We are a Woman-Owned Small Business providing facility operations support, maintenance/repair, construction, and various environmental services for the federal government across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Performance metrics will be measured based on safety, quality, and value for the federal division as well as growth. General responsibilities include:
- Manage performance for existing employees and new hire needs to support growth of the federal services division.
- Review program performance objectives for consistency of schedules, compliance, and financial document requirements.
- Evaluate and balance to anticipated budget expectations.
- Work closely with government contracting representatives on program issues and needs.
- Provide support in preparing briefing packages for presentations to high level leadership as required.
- Meet with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review tasks plans and deliverable items.
- Develop and manage teaming partnerships as necessary to capture new contract opportunities.
- Evaluate new contract pursuits and develop capture strategy.
- Lead proposal development team
- Develop and manage relationship with contracting officers and other government buyers
- Ensure all federal contracts are meeting or exceeding contract goals
- Set and achieve business development goals related to contracts submitted and opportunities won
Reports to: President of the CompanyLocation: Southeast/Mid-Atlantic. Not required to work from Corporate office.Experience:
- US citizenship required
- Must meet security access requirements based on background search
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in management and supervision of facility operations support and/or environmental service requirements in the federal sector.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience developing and submitting winning proposals in the federal sector
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Strong client relations skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage costs and control schedule
- Excellent knowledge of safety requirements
- Ability to coach, lead and motivate multinational and multi-disciplined employees
- Demonstrates leadership, concise execution of plans, vision of project future, and effective communication of vision to all team members
