We are constantly embracing ways for our employees to grow professionally.We are seeking a Los Angeles Certified Deputy Grading Inpsector / Sr. Soil Technician to join our Irvine team and primarily service our Los Angeles Projects.  Position Duties:

• Perform testing and observation on grading projects including school projects in Santa Monica and Beverly Hills
• Maintain and organize field records, maps and data
• Reads and comprehends the conclusions and recommendations of geotechnical reports and plan sets, then implement their requirements in the field. Identify soils and have a knowledge of general earthwork and grading specifications
• Prepare field dailies for electronic distribution
• Interface effectively with project managers, technicians, contractors and clients

Requirments

• Must know basic soil engineering and able to visually identify all soil types
• 5 - 7 years of active field experience on grading projects
• Provide own vehicle for use
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Use of testing / reporting software on company provided tablet
• Ability to lift and or move up to 50 pounds
