JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
- Oversee, design, and implement electrical engineering projects
- Experience in the design of commercial building electrical systems
- Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications and technical drawings
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, principles, concepts, established procedures, and be able to work closely and communicate with architects, engineers, clients, and contractors
- Resolve issues and ensure work is completed according to specifications
- Responsible for balancing project management and engineering tasks
- Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation
- Conducts maintenance and testing on electrical systems
- Electrical engineering (power, lighting, systems, and low voltage) for the commercial built environment
- Assisting in the procurement of new work including the development of client relations and participation in project interviews
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- PE license
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering design and Project Management for commercial building projects
- Ability to write technical reports and documentation
- Ability to perform all electrical engineering tasks associated with the projects from proposal, design and drafting, engineering calculations, cost estimates to client reviews
- Knowledge of electrical equipment standards is required
- Knowledge of power distribution systems, lighting, and fire alarm systems
- Good decision-making skills, flexibility, focus on quality, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently on project design tasks
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- U.S. Residency
