Job Description

  EnviroSmart d.b.a. ES Integrated is seeking qualified Industrial/Environmental Services Site Superintendent to support the Savannah, GA Division.  Must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience performing and overseeing hydro blasting and leading crews of 3 or more technicians and/or field operations specifically relating to building mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, building automation controls, fire protection, wastewater treatment, fuel tanks and distribution systems, water purification and treatment systems, and mechanical site utilities) in order to achieve a satisfactory, orderly level of production by crafts and subcontractors.  The Supervisor must be qualified to manage multiple service crews at different sites.  Enforces all relevant safety and quality control policies and procedures in assigned area. Ensures that work meets the owner's expectations, produces satisfactory profits, meet time limitations and contractual requirements.  Performance is measured for Safety, Quality, and Value delivered to the project and company.  Working conditions include outside work, extreme temperatures, noisy conditions, shift work, flexible schedules and 24/7 on-call availability.Essential Functions

  • Strong leadership and management skills and maintains regular communications with project staff to ensure work complies with specifications and schedule
  • Strong client relations skills are a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage costs and control schedule.
  • Excellent knowledge of safety requirements, conscientious of Safety, Quality, and Teamwork
  • Ability to coach, lead and motivate multinational and multi-disciplined employees.
  • Manages the day-to-day work in the field
  • Adjust quickly and effectively to changing conditions and demands
  • Must be able to perform and guide employees in the following areas
    • Vacuum Equipment Operations
    • Operate large Industrial Cleaning Equipment and Vehicles
    • Hydro blasting
    • Other industrial cleaning related activities
    • Manage Scheduling and Logistics for Multiple Crews
    • Maintenance/repair/operation of machinery, pumps and hoses
    • Erosion control installation
    • Handling waste drums, waste segregation
    • Landscaping, mowing
    • Sample collection
    • Stormwater
    • Site remediation and/or restoration
    • Waste management

Required Eligibility Qualifications

  • 3+ Years Management Experience in the Industrial/Environmental Field
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
  • Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license (Required)
  • Able to obtain form of identification compliant with the R.E.A.L. I.D. standards
  • Pass DOD/DOE background check for site access/clearance
  • Pass pre-employment and random DOT & Non-DOT drug and alcohol screening
  • Experience in site cleanup, industrial cleaning, or landscaping type activities
  • Reliable transportation to and from work and the ability to fulfill varying beginning and ending shift times

Physical Demands
Must be able to:

  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
  • Able to physically control industrial hydro blasting and vacuum equipment
  • Able to carry industrial hoses (up to 60 lbs) up and down multiple flights of stairs
  • Ability to work in varying (extreme) temperatures, depending upon season
  • Must complete all pre and post training including safety, new hire, and regulatory

Supervisory Responsibility

  • Responsible for managing crews consisting of multiple vacuum truck drivers, technicians, and laborers
  • Responsibility includes timesheet review and approval, project performance metrics (safety, quality, value), recruiting/hiring, and effective execution of work schedules
  • Practice Safety, Quality, and Value for all industrial service-related project performance activities
  • Vacuum Equipment Operations
  • Operate large Industrial Cleaning Equipment and Vehicles
  • Pressure washing
  • Other industrial cleaning related activities

Certifications/Training/ Licensure (Require but will train)

  • 30 Hour OSHA (preferred but will train)
  • MSHA (required but will train)
  • Confined Space Entry (Required)
  • Class B CDL (Preferred)
  • 40-HR HAZWOPER (Preferred but will train)
  • Forklift Certified (Preferred but not required)

Hours of Work

  • Shift work, flexible schedules and 24/7 on-call availability (varies by division and job)
  • Typical week will consist of Monday – Friday, 8-10 hours per day (varies by division and job)

Travel

  • Must be able to commute to job site and/or travel and stay overnight as required  - varies by project
