Job Description

For shipyards based in Belgium, the Netherlands and France:In collaboration with the Project Managers and your manager, the Principal Site Manager:

  • You carry out the preparation, the supply and the operational follow-up of the construction sites;
  • You monitor costs and delivery compliance;
  • You optimize team schedules;
  • You ensure good communication between partners (clients, architects, design offices, project owners).

Through the effective and qualitative management of your team:

  • You ensure the implementation of health, safety and environment requirements;
  • You concretize customer requirements and quality procedures;
  • You ensure that deadlines are met.

In collaboration with the Health, Safety & Environment, Quality, People and Maintenance departments:

  • You are an information relay for your teams, particularly in terms of internal procedures;
  • You participate in the training and evaluation of your teams;
  • You are a promoter of the company's values, particularly in terms of respect;
  • You maintain a high level of cleanliness and operability of equipment.

Qualifications

  • Basic training: Construction – Bachelor level or equivalent experience
  • Professional experience: > 3 years in a technical sector with team management.
  • Flexibility: Work on the move and at variable hours.
  • Languages: Practice of French and Dutch; English is a plus.
  • Skills: High organizational skills; safety, quality and results orientation; excellent “people manager”; sense of initiative and responsibility.
  • Others: Ease of use of IT tools, holder of license B

Additional Information

Position

  • Your line manager: Principal Site Manager
  • Your team: Team Leader and Production Workers. From 2 to 10 people depending on the size of the site
  • Scope: From 1 to 5 projects depending on the level of complexity
  • Contacts: Project Managers – HSE, Quality, People and Maintenance Departments
  • Back-up: Main Site Managers, Site Managers
